One thing has become apparent during the last week of Timberwolves basketball. They miss Jaden McDaniels who has missed the past four games since his injury against the Knicks. While Troy Brown Jr has had some great games with his role expanded the defense has struggled. However the Timberwolves only lost one game this week so I may be overreacting. They took down an Embiid-less Philadelphia team at the Target Center on Wednesday night then unfortunately lost an in season tournament game to the Kings Friday night. It seemed on Friday night that everything could go wrong did in our eleven point loss and it ended up costing us a berth in the quarterfinals as the Kings went 4-0. The Timberwolves took care of the lowly Grizzles Sunday night in a pretty uneventful game except for Leonard Miller scoring his first NBA bucket. Last night there was a great game against Oklahoma City who has been fantastic this season with the addition of Minnesota’ own Chet Holmgren. The Timberwolves as they have done all season squeezed out another W. Overall right now everything is great in Minnesota and I will be back next week to hopefully discuss more wins for the team.
