How this started: Coming to Oregon and watching the Lakers every night inspired me to create a space for myself to talk about Hoops. Since then I have gotten much more serious about following the sport of basketball as a whole and connecting with others to expand this vision and see what career opportunities are out there for me.
What I’ve Done: This season I put a lot of focus into Synergy film and highlighting player performances as the season rolled on. This was mainly done on Twitter/X and TikTok — but I will soon be putting it all together on the site. Actually understanding who every player is and how they impact the game is crucial knowledge to have when investing in these games. Breaking down the entire board every day is a tall task
What I hope to accomplish in the future: This summer I will begin working as a scout at the AAU/High School Level. What I love is that getting in the gym will give me an early look some the players that I will eventually be following in college basketball. I hope to become a resource for players to get noticed as they work towards their college and pro aspirations.
How you can be involved: I am hoping to bring on a writer for every pro and college basketball team so that this can become a site where there is something for basketball fans from all walks of life.

Following the MLB is another expansion I have been working towards so that I have sporting events to look forward to every night just about 365 days a year. Learning who everyone is was a long process but with the help of FanGraphs it became an attainable goal. Understanding the numbers such as WRC+ (hitting) and SIERRA (pitching performance indicator) add important context for baseball fans. Being able to have an expectation of which pitchers will be available out of the bullpen is the final nuance that gives you the confidence to feel like you have a hold on every game from start to finish. Baseball is America’s past time and something I’m excited to lock in to throughout the hoopless summers.
