The Timberwolves will finish above .500 (42-17)

On Friday Stephen A. Smith flew into cold Minneapolis for ESPN’s programming of Timberwolves All Access along with the Wolves and Bucks game. While the Wolves didn’t play their best game losing 112-107 there were many great quotes that came from ESPN interviewing the players all day. Ant said prior to the game to Stephen A that he believes he a better player than Luka Doncic which is pretty incredible to think about. It wasn’t long ago that Wolves fans were worried about not taking Lamelo Ball in 2020. The Wolves bounced back on Saturday winning a rock fight against the Nets 101-86. This was a good throwback to remind all of us that basketball games can still be low scoring. The Wolves were also able to win their back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday against the low in the standings Spurs and Grizzles. This confirmed the Wolves will have at least the same record as last year despite the fact we have twenty-three games remaining. This weekend the Wolves have two tough home tests against the Kings and Clippers. The Wolves then have one last home game Monday Night vs Portland before they finally hit the road again for the first time since All-Star break.
