We have officially hit the final quarter of the season. This means that the standings mean even more this time of year. On Sunday the Wolves lost 1st place in the West during a loss 89-88 to the Clippers. However the Wolves regained that position Monday night by beating Portland 119-114 and OKC losing to the Lakers. The standings are still close with OKC and Denver only a half game back of the Wolves. This makes games like Friday against the Kings so frustrating as the Wolves had every chance to win that game but just couldn’t finish.
Antony Edwards missed tip off last night requiring him to come off the bench for the first time since the Ryan Saunders era. He claims he lost track of time and checked in for NAW 30 seconds into the game. Ant must of just gotten so used to playing at the Target Center he thought he had more time. With the big ten Women’s (This Weekend) and Men’s (Next Weekend) heading to the Target Center the Timberwolves will hit the road for six games. This starts on Thursday in Indiana and then Friday they will go to Cleveland. Then on Sunday and Tuesday the Wolves will be in LA battling the roommates at Crypto.Com Arena.
