For the first time in franchise history the Timberwolves have executed a 4-0 sweep on the Phoenix Suns. While Game 3 was another domination by the Timberwolves, Game 4 was a neck and neck back and forth game as Devin Booker finally decided to show up and dropped 49 points. Durant added 33 but it was not enough as their third star Bradley Beal only scored nine and fouled out with the game still in reach. However after Edwards posterized KD the game felt all but over. The Wolves have now earned some time off and will hope the Lakers can make it a series in Denver tonight. If Denver wins tonight the Wolves will be in Denver Saturday night to kick off round 2 where the series will start next Monday. In order for the Timberwolves to host game 1 in the series they will need the Lakers to come back from 3-0 down for the first time in NBA history.

Another injury to watch is Chris Finch who late in the game last night collided with Mike Conley. Finch was immediately rushed to the locker room and Micah Nori took over to lead the franchise to their first playoff series win since 2004. Reports are saying Finch will be fine to coach next series however he may be on crutches or have some sort of wonky upkeep on the sideline. Finch was announced as the 3rd place finisher for Coach of the Year last night.
