I didn’t do a preview for this series. Maybe that is because I am a slacking blogger or maybe it was because I didn’t know what to think. As a Lebron stan I thought it would be 50/50 whether the Wolves would get the Lakers or Nuggets at the beginning of the playoffs. The Nuggets proved me very wrong as they took care of them just like they took care of us last year winning the first three before winning in five. However I didn’t expect the Wolves to come out and put a whooping on the Nuggets twice especially last night without Rudy.
The first game was close for most of it. It was a joy on Saturday to watch Ant hoop. He essentially carried the squad and got the worst tech I have seen. Then yesterday the Wolves played one of the best team playoff games I have seen. The defense was suffocating despite not having a DPOY on the court. Now all the wolves have to do is win on Friday and Sunday at the Target Center to advance to the conference finals. What a world we live in, let’s keep the vibes up this weekend.
