I have started this blog three times today and I can’t find the words to express my disappointment. The Minnesota Timberwolves had the defending champions on the ropes and just like that it is back to a best of 3 series. Game 3 was a terrible horrific game where the wolves could only score 90 and lost by 27. I tried to take that as a bad game and remind myself that in the playoffs there are flows to the series. However losing two home games for a team like the Wolves is not normal surely we would bounce back in Game 4…..
Game 4 was one of the worst officiated games I have watched. Rudy played poorly he was a liability on offense and defense. You can say the same about his front court counterpart KAT. However there were at least 5-10 times both of those players were fouled at the rim and Scott Foster again ate his whistle. Jokic and Gordon got those same calls on the other side. We didn’t lose because of the refs, we lost because the Nuggets shot the ball unbelievably well. However we will never win games that are officiated that way. I am so tired of jabronis like Scott Foster, Tony Brothers being put in these high leverage games. I swear I will file the protest with the NBA myself if either works game 6 or a pending game 7.
Chris Finch should never Kyle Anderson on the court this series. His minutes last night were awful as he among many others sold Ant’s massive game. However that is part of why I think we can still win this series. We still have Ant and the same team who blew this team out in Denver. That is why I believe. We have come too far to only come this far. It is ok to be mad. It is ok to be disappointed. Come tomorrow though at 9:30 PM CST Wolves back and it is all smoke!
