What a game, what a series, and what a life twenty two year old Antony Edwards is living. Last night the Timberwolves had the biggest post halftime comeback in Game 7 history on the road to knock out the defending champion Nuggets 98-90.
As far as credit goes for yesterday it starts with the big Purr Karl Antony-Towns. He held water the first three quarters while Minnesota tried to find their shot keeping the game close with his twenty three points and twelve rebounds. However it was truthfully a team effort as the defensive side is why the Wolves were able to advance to face Dallas for a chance at the finals. Jaden Mcdaniels had probably his best night as a pro in the biggest moment of his career so far.
As far as someone not giving credit let’s talk about the ultimate crybaby Mike (You can earn Michael back by apologizing) Malone. A reporter last night asked Malone following the loss how much it stung knowing they had a twenty point lead and lost. Malone scoffed and said “Next Question it has nothing to do with the lead it hurts because the season is over and called it a stupid question.” News flash Mike it is relevant how you lost you blew it and got outcoached by a guy on one leg. Maybe you’ll remember this at the next parade you have to not be talking about being a dynasty after winning one title. Don’t write checks you can’t cash and respect media members. It also has come out that Jamal Murray after eliminating us last year told Mike Conley at a bar after Game 5 in 2023 that “He can’t guard him”. Respectfully at least Conley has someone to guard while you’re headed to Cancun Jamal.
I love this team. I love the effort. Most of all I love our city/state rallying around our boys. I will be back with a WCF Preview before Wednesday night.
WOLVES ARE SO BACK!!!!!!!
