This week has been quiet on the Timberwolves front. The Wolves got some much needed rest after surviving a 60 bomb from Fox in an NBA Cup game against the Kings and then Julius had his marque wolves moment as he hit a game winning three vs the Suns on Sunday. However with the Wolves being off it allows our fans to do our favorite thing: speculate.

Terrance Shannon Jr made his debut in Iowa last night and dropped 34 in his first game in the G league. This led to many of the Wolves fandom proclaiming the 24 year old needs a shot in the NBA. I have heard similar callings for Leonard Miller, Josh Minot, and of course Rob Dillingham. I don’t know how to explain this any better other to say this is a great problem for this team to have. I am glad we aren’t back to where we were in 2019-2020 where every rookie has to play in the rotation immediately. If injuries happen it is awesome we have these players in MN learning about our system and team. Please stop asking for their minutes though we are trying to win a championship not play 13 guys a night.

The Wolves will look to win in Toronto for the first time since January 2004 tonight against a depleted Raptors team. Then we try to win in Boston for the first time since 2005 on Sunday.
