Milan Momcilovic — MILAN!!! I believe that I’ve found a GUY in Milan Momcilovic. Omaha Biliew was the Iowa State Cyclone I planned on paying the closest attention to — but things change. Momcilovic has a smooth KNOCKDOWN jump shot that doesn’t seem to be even slightly affected by a hand in his face. Shoots right over guys and moves in slow motion. Back to the basket game is present with good touch around the rim. The stepback/quick-stop fadeaway is an option whenever he wants it — A little Alpi/Dirk Fade with a KICK for us!!! Good teams make crazy comebacks and I’ve already seen that from Iowa State even though the level of competition has been pretty light. Can’t wait to see how the prospects hold up against the Big 12.

Judah Mintz — Judah Mintz is a PURE HOOPER — here’s a film deep dive. Shades of Kyrie Irving and Bones Hyland. Seems like he doesn’t get open shots EVER. Finds ways to score and impact every game — the shot fake/floater is his signature move?? Relentless/acrobatic/grounded/strong finisher. Beats the zone @ Ga Tech. Balls out @ Maimi. Shotmaking/finishing is stellar and I cannot wait to see (1) the progression but also (2) the off ball action with JJ Starling now joining the Cuse backcourt. Can easily be seen that he struggles with closing some games forcing bad shots/turnovers. Definitely can’t be doing this in 2023-2024. Very good Ast/To overall on Synergy. I want to be WOWED a few times by the Syracuse Orange.. report back here to know if that happens.

Kel’el Ware —

Garwey Dual — A suspension may be coming after hitting someone in the face … but Garwey Dual has already shown us a lot in the time we’ve seen him on the floor for Providence. He kind of just floats around on defense and effortlessly flashes in the play out of nowhere. What a special prospect, the defensive impact is so apparent — watch him stay straight up in transition to get the steal. I’ve also been impressed with his handle/passing so far — seems very comfortable with the ball.
