Relevant CBB:
Michigan has had a ton of tough games as of late. With road games in College Basketball there is simply nothing you can do sometimes and the losses pile up. Michigan is plus money vs a team they already beat. It may be on the road but this isn’t Maryland or Iowa.. it’s Northwestern who has already over preformed.
Ohio State/Wisco – Ohio State continues to play tough and while they are a few wins a way from a potential entrance to the tournament field, they are trending in the right direction. 8 points seems steep but I can’t look away from the Buckeyes as Wisconsin simply hasn’t come along.
UCLA, Utah, and USC should all win (Big Pac-12 Night). If one team is going to lose, I have to look at the Trojans having some trouble with Wazzu.
Big Feedback game with Oregon @ Arizona. Is Oregon a real team who can matchup with Arizona and be competitive… or are they going to be the team we saw at Stanford. I anticipate this to be a close game, but home revenge for the Wildcats is hard to fade.
Getting into the NBA Matchups:
Grizzlies come to Cleveland on a back to back. Line doesn’t expect them to win and that’s for good reason. Cavs have been at home and they are coming off a loss. No real look ahead with Indiana next.
Lakers road trip continues. LeBron is record chasing but has been listed as Questionable every night which makes it hard to grab a line. Slight issue… All-Star Tyrese Haliburton will return to the lineup tonight. Lakers will need to be focused and healthy to win this. Indiana handed the Lakers one of their worst losses of the season months ago in LA.
The desperate but revamped Pelicans head to Dallas. Certainly undervalued and I haven’t been impressed with the Mavs whatsoever (Luka needed 50+ to beat the Pistons in a comeback win). A loss is a loss, it could come in Denver (almost impossible circumstances) or vs Houston.. it counts as the same thing. So eight straight losses for the Pels sucks but with BI back and some tough scheduling, there isn’t much to be worried about. Grab the 5
This Bulls team is toast, but this is a Bulls game that will likely result in a Bulls win. Maybe they will look like the best team in the league tonight.. who knows? Not me. I will take ML and try to make some profit.
Miami @ NYK – Probably the best game of the night. Very evenly matched, and as the Heat are now healthy and become a real consistent basketball team – we have to figure out exactly where they stand. I totally think the Knicks are better, I’m just not sure that I can trust them. This one is at the house though, and I will try to find a better line throughout the game. Knicks.
Things are getting pathetic with Golden State. One thing that keeps ringing in my head is 7 GAME SERIES. Yeah they are the champs, but aside from them getting up for a game here and there we haven’t seen anything to make us think they can compete with the best of the best over the course of a demanding series. Denver is who you need to be looking at! The team to beat! Golden State is on a back to back sure, but they aren’t going to try to win this game tonight. Embarrassing!!
Late Night – Bucks/Clippers. A 10 PM start time is interesting IN MILWAUKEE. This is a game where we have some public betting info. A lot of people are on the Bucks. As someone who has been making money with the Clippers and had to sweat Bucks ML for part of their recent game vs the Hornets.. this line doesn’t make a lot of sense. Free Play – Take the LA Clippers plus the points.
